Mr.Mix Controls

Mr.Mix on Roblox does not walk you through a full control card. The house throws on-screen hints one at a time — crouch to stay low, drop an item, burn a web — then Mister Mix knocks on the door. This page is the missing card. Pair it with getting started for the first-hour checklist and the walkthrough once you know which button actually drops the torch.

The experience launched 14 August 2024, is still Chapter 1, and seats up to 16 players. Official Chapter 2 is not out. There are no live promo codes. Controls do not change that. They do change whether you trip the first wire because you were holding a plank you meant to put down.

PC keyboard

Move with WASD or arrow keys. Jump with Space. Look with the mouse. Shift sprints or toggles a run lock depending on your Roblox shift-lock setting. Interact with E or left click. Those are the verbs the first room expects.

Hints inside Chapter 1 add keys the tutorial never put on a poster:

• C crouches. The game tells you to crouch to stay inconspicuous. Under the radar wants that habit. The kitchen boss wants it as a sit-dodge when the knife goes circular.
• F picks up. If an ID card, torch, scissors, or figurine is on a table and you walked past it, you probably never hit F.
• G (and sometimes Q) drops the item in your hand. Players in the dream/sleep stretch hold a torch they cannot put away and then fall into the void. Drop it. You can pick it up again.
• Q and E cycle the hotbar along the bottom. If you grabbed a plank, a torch, and a figurine, cycle to the one the prompt actually wants.
• Right-click drag pans if your camera feels stuck. High sensitivity makes Mixer fights dizzy; lower it in Roblox settings before you blame the spider.

Typing a number lock is just the keyboard plus the on-screen field. That is not a promo-code box. The number lock guide covers why 531 is an example.

Mr.Mix Roblox controls, crouch, drop, and lives

Console

Xbox: left stick move, right stick look, A jump, X interact, press left stick or LB to sprint, Menu for the Roblox menu.

PlayStation: left stick move, right stick look, Cross jump, Square interact, L3 or L1 sprint, Options for the menu.

Crouch and drop bind to your Roblox controller map. If sit-dodge at the boss does nothing, open Roblox settings and confirm crouch is bound. The fight text says sitting is enough to dodge a circular blow. That is crouch, not jump.

Mobile

On-screen sticks and buttons. External controllers work on supported devices. The failure mode is covering the drop button with a thumb while Mister Mix winds up. Park the torch before a parkour jump. If the UI hides interact behind the jump pad, rotate the camera until the prompt is a fat target.

Sixteen people on a phone server still share one number lock. Assign a caller. Do not all type 531 from memory.

Flowers are lives

A vase with three flowers (often read as roses) is the life meter. Each death removes a flower. When the vase is empty, the run starts over from the opening. Shared public servers can make one person’s Mixer click cost the squad a flower. That is why Curiosity killed the cat and Step on the same rake belong on a throwaway run, not on a Perfect Escape attempt.

Death animations stack: abyss, Mixer jumpscare, ejection, rays, lava, poison, rats, train, fall, cutting. The jumpscares page is the catalog. This page only cares that flowers are not decoration.

Torch, webs, and Mixer

Spider webs on blocked stairs are not flavor. A torch (or lighter) burns them. Interact with Mixer the spider and you die; that is the Mixer rule. Burn the web, do not pet the spider. If you cannot find the torch, you are not meant to force the stairs yet — backtrack a room.

K appears in some sessions as a stamina purchase prompt. Treat it as optional Robux, not a required control. You can finish Chapter 1 on default stamina if you stop sprinting into tripwires.

House verbs that are not keys

Block the door with a physical object so Mister Mix cannot walk in while you read screens. Turn room lights on when it is dark. Hit the red shock button if he lunges in the house sequence. Sit (crouch) for circular knife blows in the kitchen. If a bell rings, run. None of those are extra keybinds. They are the puzzle helper list.

Once the keys are in muscle memory, stop reading this page mid-chase. Open the walkthrough for room order, the number lock when screens flash colors, and the boss fight when fruit and a trebuchet show up.
