Mixer, the Spider in Mr.Mix

Two hitboxes, one rake badge — pet it and you die; skip both and you miss 0.6% of the board.

Mixer the Spider in Mr.Mix

Mixer is Mister Mix’s spider, not a second chef. In Mr.Mix on Roblox the spider is a one-touch kill with two spawn spots that new players keep treating like a plush. AirAlarm placed the first Mixer in an early lair after a web you burn with a torch, and the second under the stairs in the house. Touching both in the same session is the recipe for Step on the same rake (0.6% win rate). Touching either during a Perfect Escape attempt is how a 0.1% badge becomes a cooking cutscene.

This page splits the spider into two jobs: avoid on a real run, farm on a throwaway run. For the chef who owns the pet, read Mister Mix. For the rest of the award board, read the badge guide and the getting started controls. Do not open a script hub to “delete Mixer.” No Obstacles is a ToS break; the spider is a two-room problem.

Spot one — the first-room lair

The opening house teaches ID card, tripwire, and curiosity. A torch burns a web that is not “just decoration.” Behind that web is Mixer in a small lair, sometimes staged near a figurine or a cute cook diorama so your brain says collectable. Interaction is death. The area tier list ranks this room S-stuck because the wipe happens before the color number lock, before the dungeon, before anyone has a right to be bored.

Avoidance here is pathing, not combat. You do not have a weapon. You do not shock Mixer; the red button is for the chef. Walk the edge, do not click the spider, do not emote on it for a clip. If a teammate on the 16-player server sprints in to “see if it is friendly,” let them spend the life. You still need two distinct spots for the rake badge, so a double death in room one still fails the award.

House photos later confirm the spider is a pet. That is flavor. It does not make the hitbox safe.

Spot two — under the stairs

The second Mixer lives in the house proper, under the stairs. Players who survived the lair relax, turn the stair light on (good), and then crouch into the dark because a prop glints. Same rule: contact is a full death. Comments on badge hunts are full of people who died twice in the first room, reached the stairs, died again, and still did not get Step on the same rake because the game wanted one of each location, not three of one.

Avoidance is the same as spot one: treat the stair void as a kill plane. Lights help you see the model so you do not wander into it. Door blocks and other Mister Mix stall tools do not apply to Mixer. The spider is not chasing a scripted lunge. It is a trap with legs.

If you are routing Collection figurines near the stairs, grab the object from an angle that never intersects the spider’s volume. S-tier collectables are not worth a surprise life on a clean run.

How to farm Step on the same rake

The badge name is a rake joke: you step on the same stupid hazard twice. The implementation is geographic.

  1. Start a run you do not care about. Perfect Escape, Charity, and Collection do not belong on this save-scum of a mindset.
  2. Reach Mixer in the first-room lair and touch it. Take the death.
  3. Continue the same session (you have three lives). Reach Mixer under the stairs and touch it.
  4. The award should fire after the second distinct spot. If it does not, you probably double-tapped one location.
  5. Do not do this on a friend’s Charity coin run. Call the farm in chat so the 16-player server is not confused why you are eating the pet on purpose.

People still fail this because they:

  • die twice to spot one and never find spot two
  • die to Mister Mix’s pot and think that counted as a “rake”
  • leave the server between deaths
  • use a death toggle that skips the spider’s award hook

If a script GUI offers Kill All as a shortcut, remember that toggle is a self-death troll, not a Mixer simulator. It will not stamp the rake. Play the two rooms.

Avoidance versus curiosity killed the cat

Curiosity killed the cat sits at 9.3% and is a different badge. Poking Mixer can feel like “curiosity,” but the rake is a two-spot spider contract. Do not mash every dangerous prop hoping the 9.3% and the 0.6% drop together. Read the badge tier list so you are not spending a life on the wrong joke.

Under the radar (16.2%) is also not Mixer. Stealth past a check is not the same as ignoring a pet. If you are trying to stay under the radar, you especially should not touch the spider for content.

Why Mixer exists in the design

Mister Mix is a long-form personality: voice, kitchen, sit-dodge. Mixer is the early filter that keeps average session time short. Tracker sites show playtime under five minutes; the spider is a lot of that chart. The three-life budget is calibrated so you can learn Mixer once and still reach the number lock. It is not calibrated so you can learn Mixer twice and offend a snowman and still Perfect Escape.

On co-op, assign a caller. One player watches the lair, one watches the stairs. Sixteen people all “just checking” is how a public server becomes a Mixer shrine.

Once both spots are in your muscle memory, Mixer stops being a character and becomes furniture with a hitbox. That is the goal. Leave the personality to the yellow chef, leave the dialogue to Mouse City, and leave the spider on the floor where AirAlarm put it.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common Mr.Mix questions.

Where does Mixer spawn in Mr.Mix?

Two places: an early lair after you burn a web in the first rooms, and under the stairs in the house. Both are one-touch kills.

How do I get Step on the same rake?

Die to Mixer in both spawn spots during the same session. Two deaths in the first room will not award it. Details also sit on the badge guide.

Should I farm Mixer on a Perfect Escape run?

No. Perfect Escape is 0.1% because the three-life budget is tight. Farm the rake on a throwaway join.

Does sitting or the shock button work on Mixer?

No. Sit-dodge and the red shock button are for Mister Mix in the kitchen. Mixer is avoided by not touching it.

Can a script give me the rake badge?

Do not use one. Kill All on the known hub is a self-troll, not a Mixer farm, and injectors break Roblox ToS. Play the two spots.
