Mr.Mix Number Lock
The code is on the live screens. A screenshot from a friend is already stale.
The Mr.Mix number lock is the puzzle that creates the most abandoned runs. A computer or wall graphic shows 531. Comment sections tattoo that number into your brain. You type 531. Mister Mix knocks you out. The hint was telling the truth and lying at the same time: numbers of a certain color appear on the screens, and you enter that set into the lock. 531 is the tutorial example, not today’s combination.
This page is only the lock, the beep, the lights, and the later color plugs on the generator. Room order stays on the walkthrough. Keys stay on controls. The short checklist lives on the puzzle helper.
Mr.Mix launched 14 August 2024. Servers hold 16. Official Chapter 2 is not released. This lock is Chapter 1, every session, until AirAlarm ships something else.
Why 531 fails
The house teaches with an example overlay. Players photograph 531, leave, come back a week later, and type it again. The combination changes every play session. A YouTube comment from December 2024 is not a code drop. There are still no live promo codes on the codes hub. This keypad is not that box.
When the hint says numbers of a certain color will appear, it means you must look at the live monitors in the room, not the graffiti, not the example card, not a Discord screenshot. If the room is dark, turn the lights on first. You cannot read a color you cannot see.
How to read the screens
- Block the door so Mister Mix is not in the room while you stare.
- Turn lights on.
- Wait for the short beep. That is the cue to watch.
- Note each screen: digit plus color (for example nine red, zero blue, four green). Your set will differ.
- Type only that set, in the order the hint describes, on the lock.
- If it fails, you used the example, typed every digit on the wall, or missed a color because someone else was standing in the glow.
On a 16-player server, assign one caller. Four people typing every number they see is how you waste a flower life. Call “red 9, green 4, blue 0” and let one person own the field.
A timer can appear. Do not sprint. Wrong digits cost the attempt; a calm read does not.
Lights, door, shock
The lock room is also a stealth room. If Mister Mix is already inside, the red shock button is the house answer, not a longer password. Blocking the door buys the seconds the beep needs. Crouch (C on PC) if you need to stay off his line while a teammate types. None of that changes the combination. It only keeps you alive long enough to enter it.
Generator plugs (same color logic)
Later, a generator-looking object has three plugs and sockets on the walls. Connect plugs to sockets by color. This is the same lesson as the screens: match the live color, do not invent a universal order from a video. If a plug is already pulled, you or a teammate started the puzzle. Finish the matching set instead of resetting at random.
The lab / Mouse City stretch also asks for a generator battery the rats stole. That is an item fetch, not a second number lock. Do not type 531 into a battery. Bring the painted cheese stone, the ID card, and the battery the Mouse City page describes.
What this lock will never do
It will not grant Perfect Escape. It will not skip Mixer. It will not redeem a promo string. Script hubs that auto-solve the keypad are a Roblox Terms of Service risk documented on the scripts hub. The legal way is lights, beep, colors, type.
If you cleared the lock and still cannot leave, you are not on the lock anymore. You are on the walkthrough after the house: dungeon, yard, sleep, train, maze, lab, city, fake cheese, boss. Come back here only when screens flash again.
